Roya Tahmassebi Named Brevard College Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach
Roya Tahmassebi has been named Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Brevard College, announced Director of Athletics Myranda Nash. Tahmassebi succeeds Kristin Rosato who coached the Tornados for eight seasons, capped off by the most successful season in program history in 2023. Rosato will remain with Brevard College Athletics in her role as Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator.

Historic 2023 Campaign Concludes in First Round of USA South Tournament
The historic 2023 season for the Brevard College women’s lacrosse team (11-6) came to a conclusion with a 23-8 defeat at the hands of four-seed Methodist University (12-5) on Monday afternoon in the first round of the USA South Conference Women’s Lacrosse Tournament.
The contest marked BC’s first postseason appearance since the 2016 South Atlantic Conference Tournament and the second overall tournament appearance in program history.

Brevard Concludes Historic Regular Season with Defeat at Methodist; Postseason Begins Monday
The Brevard College women’s lacrosse team (11-5, 5-4 USA South) concluded its most successful season in program history with a 20-6 setback to host Methodist (10-8, 7-3 USA South) on Saturday in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
The Tornados earned the fifth seed in the USA South Conference postseason tournament and will face fourth-seeded Methodist again in a rematch on Monday at 3 p.m. in the tourney’s first round.
