BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College Track & Field team is scheduled to open its 2021 outdoor campaign up with a trip to Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday, as the Tornados take part in the CIU Rams Invitational.

The Tornados, led by third-year Head Track & Field Coach Darryll Patrick, Assistant Coach Jordan Tager, and Volunteer Assistant Coach Chad Newton, are eager to resume action after their 2020 season was cut short to just a single meet due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
BC's men's side features a distance-heavy unit, with the entire 2021 Cross Country team taking part in the Track & Field season. The Tornados also return throwers Gabriel Covington and Evan McAdams on the men's side.
Women's thrower Kelia Oliver returns to the women's team following a successful freshman campaign in which she took home a USA South Women's Track & Field Rookie of the Week honor.
