Brevard College has announced the selection of the three newest inductees into the Brevard College Athletics Hall of Fame with the selections of Scott Dvorak ‘89 (Cross Country/Track & Field), Ray Gill ’05 (Baseball) and Joh Tuttle Tyson ‘10 (Cycling).

Program Best Five Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field Student-Athletes Named Academic All-District
A program-best five student-athletes from the Brevard College Cross Country and Track & Field teams have been named 2022-23 Academic All-District performers, selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA). Brevard College Cross Country and Track & Field student-athletes Channing Barker, Hannah Hersh, Haylea-Layne Miller, Isabell Musser and Grace Pukas were all named to the Academic All-District team for the 2022-23 season. All five Tornados now advance to the ballot for the 2022-23 CSC Academic All-America team.

Alvarez, Brodmyer from BC Track & Field/Cross Country Named Academic All-District
Two Brevard College student-athletes were selected as 2022-23 Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-District performers, selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA). BC’s Luis Alvarez and Devon Brodmyer were both named to the Academic All-District team for the 2022-23 season and now advance to the ballot for the 2022-23 CSC Academic All-America team.

Josh Hall Selected as Director of Track & Field at Brevard College
Josh Hall has been tabbed as the Director of Track & Field at Brevard College, announced Director of Athletics Myranda Nash.
Hall’s duties at BC will begin effective June 1, 2023. Brevard’s Darryll Patrick, who has served in both the Head Cross Country and Track & Field roles since 2019, will shift to Head Cross Country Coach and aide Hall as Assistant Track & Field Coach.
