BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College Tornados women's soccer team (5-1) gets ready for a non-conference matchup against North Carolina Wesleyan College (2-1-1) on Wednesday, March 17 at Truist Sports Park in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Live stats for the matchup will be available to follow along on bctornados.com for the neutral-site contest.

The Tornados are coming off a 1-0 win against Huntingdon College (4-3) last Sunday. The lone goal was scored by sophomore forward Ashley Royster who headed a cross from freshmen Tae Brown into the bottom corner of the Hawk's goal.

Ashley Royster was selected USA South conference Player of the Week alongside senior goalkeeper Rebeccah Rojas, picking up Defensive Player of the Week honors for the Tornados. This marks Rojas' fifth time being selected as a USA South Conference weekly award winner during her stint as a Tornado.

USA South Conference competitor North Carolina Wesleyan Bishops (2-1-1) comes off a 1-1, double-overtime tie against Pfeiffer University.

The Presidents of the USA South Athletic Conference have agreed to adjust the Conference's policy on spectators attending any outdoor sporting event hosted by a USA South institution regardless of opponent.

The amended policy limits spectators to two per participating student-athlete, plus students, faculty, and staff of the host institution while abiding with all local and state social distancing and capacity directives. No spectators of visiting teams will be permitted to attend. This adjusted policy went into effect for all events beginning on Friday, February 26th.
