BREVARD, N.C.- Brevard women's lacrosse fell at home 12-9 in an exhibition against Converse at Ives-Lemel Field on Saturday afternoon.

Victoria Hayes netted a team-high and was tied with a game-high in goals scored with five on the afternoon, as she was tied with Converse senior Brittni Jones in that category. The Tornados also received offensive production from Macaiah Vacchiano with two goals, and Nina Siu and Hunter Denney each adding a goal of their own. 

The game was knotted at six at the halftime break, but Converse was able to break away in the second half by limiting Brevard to just three goals in the final 30 minutes, while scoring six more goals of their own.

Brevard's first official game will be Feb. 10th at Mars Hill, as the game will start at approximately 11 a.m.
