BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College women's basketball team (1-5, 1-5 USAS) is slated to return to action this weekend, traveling to Macon, Georgia for a conference doubleheader against Wesleyan College (2-6, 2-6 USAS), with action beginning on Friday at 6 p.m. and concluding on Saturday at 12 p.m.

In an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic, spectators will not be permitted to attend USA South Conference men's and women's basketball contests this season. Members of participating teams, game officials, and other essential personnel relevant to event operations will be the only individuals permitted into the venue for 2020-21 USA South basketball games. The policy is in accordance with the USA South Conference's policy announced on January 7, 2021.

The Tornados will be looking to get back into the win column following a four-game home stretch that included BC's first victory of the season, an 86-32 triumph over Agnes Scott. Brevard also saw action against #12 Maryville College and Piedmont College, who are both currently undefeated in USA South play.

Senior forward Destiny Williams is averaging 14.3 point-per-game through four contests this season, while grabbing six boards a game and swiping a team-high 3.3 steals a contest. Senior forward Deja Riddick is the Tornados' leading rebounder with 7.2 rebounds-per-game.

Wesleyan has been paced by Ahnila Owens and Jamila Ra-Hashim, who have put up 10.4 and 10.1 points-per-game, respectively.

Brevard will finish its three-game road trip by heading to Decatur, Georgia on Tuesday, February 23 at 6:30 to conclude its season series with Agnes Scott College.
