Tornados Head to Chattanooga for Matchup with Scots

BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College Tornados men's soccer team (2-0, 1-0 USAS) is set for its first away USA South Conference matchup this weekend, traveling to Covenant College (1-1, 1-0 USAS) on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Saturday's upcoming match was moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Sports Complex. Live stats will be available, but no live video will be available for the matchup. Follow bctornados.com for live statistics once the match begins. 

BC is coming off a USA South Conference win over Piedmont College, 1-0 in the Tornados' USA South Conference opener last Sunday. The lone goal came from sophomore Vinicius Giannaccini who scored off an assist from freshman midfielder Estevan Berto.

Covenant College comes into play on Saturday coming off a 2-0 win over USA South Conference foe Maryville College. The Scots were selected first in the USA South Men's Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll for the West Division.

As a safety measure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, students, faculty and staff, as well as essential game personnel, will be permitted at outdoor sporting events during the Spring 2021 semester.  No outside spectators will be permitted for any athletics event. The policy is in accordance with the USA South Conference's policy announced on February 5, 2021.
