BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College Tornados men's basketball team (0-4, 0-3 USAS) is set for its final scheduled USA South Conference contest at the Boshamer Gymnasium in 2021, hosting Covenant College (7-8, 3-5 USAS) at the Boshamer Gymnasium on Tuesday night, with tipoff slated for 6 p.m.

Live video and statistics will be available online, free-of-charge, on youtube.com/BrevardCollegeTornados and bctornados.com.

In an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic, spectators will not be permitted to attend Brevard College men's and women's basketball home games this season at the Boshamer Gymnasium on the BC campus.  Members of participating teams, game officials, media, and other essential personnel relevant to event operations will be the only individuals permitted into the venue for 2020-21 Brevard College basketball games. The policy is in accordance with the USA South Conference's policy announced on January 7, 2021.

The Tornados have been led by junior Ladji Samoura, who posted 14 points last time out against Huntingdon College last Friday. Freshman guard Carson Evans, making his first collegiate start, added 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists to BC's efforts against the Hawks. Last Saturday's finale in the two-game weekend doubleheader was canceled due to USA South COVID-19 management protocols.

Covenant comes into play on Tuesday with a 7-8 record on the season, as the Scots have lost the past five games after starting the season 7-3. This current losing streak for the Scots dates back to a 75-55 win over Piedmont on January 29. The Scots have been led by Will Crumly, who has averaged 17.7 points and seven boards per contest for Covenant.

Following this Tuesday's action, the Tornados will return to action this weekend, concluding their season on the road in Berea, Kentucky against Berea College. The Tornados and Mountaineers are scheduled to face each other on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 12 p.m.
