FALL 2021 BREVARD COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULE LINK
BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College volleyball team has announced its slate of opponents for the upcoming 2021 Fall season of competition, following its Spring 2021 campaign.
The Tornados will be back in action on September 2, with its regular-season schedule running through October 30 ahead of the USA South Conference Volleyball Tournament, beginning November 2 and concluding Nov. 5-6.
"The Fall 2021 season is very exciting for us as a program, said Head Coach Anna Grant. "We have the opportunity to play against some high-level opponents prior to our conference schedule that will help prepare for another competitive USA South campaign. We have a strong mix of returners and incoming players who are ready to compete for their first USA South Conference Tournament appearance."
Brevard will begin its schedule on Thursday, September 2 with a trip to Emory, Virginia to face Emory & Henry College at 6 p.m. prior to the start of a two-day tournament in Atlanta on Friday and Saturday, September 3-4 hosted by Emory University. BC's road stretch will conclude on Tuesday, September 7 vs. Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, with first serve scheduled for 6 p.m.
BC will return back home for its first slate of home matchups, as the Tornados will host a two-day USA South crossover tournament on Friday and Saturday, September 17-18, with opponents and game times TBD.
The conference schedule then gets underway for the Tornados on Wednesday, September 22 when Brevard travels to Demorest, Georgia to play Piedmont College at 6 p.m. BC will host its first conference tri-match on Saturday, September 25, playing Huntingdon College at 12 p.m. before facing Berea College at 4 p.m. at The Bosh.
BC opens up October with a weekend conference tri-match hosted by LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia, where the Tornados will battle Maryville College at 2 p.m. and LaGrange at 4 p.m. Brevard will step out of conference play on Tuesday, October 5 to conclude its home-and-home series with Bob Jones at the Boshamer Gymnasium at 6 p.m. before returning to conference action, hosting Agnes Scott College on Wednesday, October 6 at 7 p.m.
The Tornados play their first of three-consecutive road tri-matches on Saturday, October 9 in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, facing Covenant College at 12 p.m. and Wesleyan College at 2 p.m. Brevard hosts its final midweek matchup of the season on Tuesday, October 12 vs. Piedmont at 6 p.m. prior to a weekend road tri-match in Montgomery, Alabama vs. Berea at 2 p.m. ET and Huntingdon at 4 p.m. ET.
Brevard will rematch with LaGrange (2 p.m.) and Maryville (4 p.m.) on Saturday, October 23 in Maryville, Tennessee before closing out a five-match road swing in Decatur, Georgia on Tuesday, October 26 at Agnes Scott, with action beginning at 7 p.m.
The Tornados then return home to host their final conference tri-match of the season, facing Covenant at 12 p.m. and Wesleyan at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 30. Attention then turns to the 2021 USA South Conference Volleyball Tournament, with first-round play beginning on Tuesday, November 2 before the semifinals on Friday, November 5, and the championship match on Saturday, November 6.
