The Tornados are fresh off a 1-2 week where Brevard claimed a home conference victory, 3-1, over Piedmont College. Freshman setter/right-side hitter Kaitlyn Pressley recorded the first triple-double of her collegiate career to help push BC to victory.

Pressley, a local product from Brevard and graduate of Brevard High School, accomplished an impressive triple-double performance for the Tornados in the conference contest. The newcomer led all players with a career-high 16 kills to go alongside new career-best marks with 17 assists and 10 digs to round off the milestone effort. Senior outside hitter Raley Shirey set a new career-high with 14 kills, while Grace Pukas led all Tornados with a 20-assist output in addition to a game-high six service aces. Freshman defensive specialist set a career-mark with 20 digs to anchor BC's defense.

Pressley currently leads the Tornados with 83 assists while ranking second on the team in digs (45) and kills (38). Shirey leads BC with 53 kills through Brevard's first six matches, while freshman Caitlin Hagarty has paced the Tornado defense with 65 digs.

In an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic, spectators will not be permitted to attend volleyball games this season.  Members of participating teams, game officials, media, and other essential personnel relevant to event operations will be the only individuals permitted into the venue for 2021 volleyball games. The policy is in accordance with the USA South Conference's policy announced on January 7, 2021.

Following Wednesday's contest, BC will continue its road swing with a pair of matches in Macon, Georgia vs. Wesleyan College on Saturday, March 27 scheduled for 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
