Four Tornados Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors, BC Women’s Tennis Selected as an All-Academic Team

BREVARD, N.C. – Four Brevard College women's tennis student-athletes – recent graduates Brooke Garland and Hamrick Perry and rising juniors Hannah Hersh and Sophie Trantham – were selected as Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athletes. Furthermore, the 2022-23 BC women's tennis team earned ITA All-Academic Team plaudits.

Garland earned her fourth career Scholar-Athlete selection from the ITA, and marks the second straight honors for Hersh and Trantham. Perry garnered her first career award from the ITA. BC earned the team award for the eighth time in the program's NCAA-era history.
