As a safety measure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only Brevard College students, faculty and staff, as well as essential game personnel, will be permitted at outdoor sporting events during the Spring 2021 semester.  No outside spectators will be permitted for any athletics event. The policy is in accordance with the USA South Conference's policy announced on February 5, 2021.

The Tornados are coming off a 1-0 win over Covenant College (1-1) last Saturday. Freshman Taylor Richardson scored the lone goal off a corner kick, assisted by junior Abbie Petrosky. Richardson was named USA South Conference Rookie of the Week, while goalkeeper Rebecca Rojas was named USA South Conference Defensive Player of the Week after recording her first clean sheet of the season.

USA South Conference rival Maryville College starts their season at home against the Tornados. The Scots were selected first in the USA South Women's Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll in the West Division.
