Members of participating teams, game officials, and other essential personnel relevant to event operations will be the only individuals permitted into the venue for 2020-21 USA South basketball games. The policy is in accordance with the USA South Conference's policy announced on January 7, 2021.

The Tornados opened their season this past weekend, traveling to Lookout Mountain, Georgia to face Covenant College. Covenant claimed both games in the weekend conference doubleheader.

Senior forward Deja Riddick led the way for the Tornados in their first two games, averaging 12 points and 12.5 rebounds on the weekend, including a double-double (15 points, 11 rebounds) on Saturday.

The visiting Scotties enter play on Tuesday 0-8 through their first eight contests, all within the USA South. Agnes Scott has been led by Shay Sweat offensively, as the junior forward has averaged 8.8 points-per-game. Musumaulai Galoia and Erika McLeod have paced the Scotties on the boards, averaging 8.6 and 7.4 rebounds-per-game respectively.
