BREVARD, N.C. - The USA South Conference has released its Pre-Conference Poll for Softball, tabbing the Tornados seventh in the USA South West Division.
Each divisional poll only includes votes from coaches within that particular division-only. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.
The 2021 USA South Softball Tournament will take place on campus sites. Due to the ramifications stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament field will be reduced to four total teams. The top-two teams from each division following regular season play will advance to the tournament.

The Tornados are coming off their first win of the 2021 campaign, as Brevard claimed a 9-5 victory over Carolina University in its home-opening doubleheader at the BC Softball Field last Saturday.
Through the first four contests in the 2021 season, Brevard has been led offensively by Emily White, who is 5-of-11 at the plate with a pair of doubles, a home run, and four RBI's. Senior pitcher Micayla McCoy has logged nine strikeouts in 12 innings of work, while Kaitlynn Farmer logged the victory over Carolina Univ.
Brevard is scheduled to return to action on Saturday when the Tornados kick off their conference schedule against Covenant College at 1 and 3 p.m. at the BC Softball Field.
