Andrew Ingram Named 2021 ITA Scholar-Athlete

BREVARD, N.C. – Rising senior student-athlete Andrew Ingram has been selected as a Scholar-Athlete by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Ingram, a native of Belmont, North Carolina, garners the first Scholar-Athlete selection of his Tornado career. The rising senior joins a list of 20 all-time Tornados to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status in the NCAA era. Ingram's honor marks the third-consecutive and fifth Scholar-Athlete selection for Brevard College men's tennis in the last six years.

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, one must meet the following requirements:

·         have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year

·         be listed on the institutional eligibility form
