2020-21 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II, III, and NAIA Men's Scholar All-Region

BREVARD, N.C. – Senior midfielder Adam Spencer was honored by the United Soccer Coaches, earning All-Region Men's Scholar honors.

To be eligible for Scholar All-Region recognition, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:

  • 3.40 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) or better throughout career
  • Started more than 50 percent of all games and significantly contribute to their team
  • Nominated by head coach of current College Services member institution
  • Junior or above in academic standing; and, if a transfer student, in second year at school

Spencer, a native of Mooresville, North Carolina, maintained a 3.81 GPA with a major in Business & Organizational Leadership while leading the Tornados to the program's first trophy in the NCAA era – the Spring 2021 USA South Conference West Division Championship.

Spencer accumulated five goals with three assists for 13 points, a mark that ranked second on the team. The returning senior is tied-for-second in career goals (20) and third in career points (25) in BC's NCAA-era history.

The midfielder was just one of two USA South student-athletes selected to the honor, joining Huntingdon College's Hunter Hall.
