Brevard goes for their third straight win in match against Pfeiffer

BREVARD, N.C.- Brevard men's soccer will look to win its third straight match of the season when the Tornados hosts Pfeiffer Wednesday night at 6 p.m.

The Tornados (6-7) have been on a roll in the past two weeks, winning four out of their last five matches. In those four wins, Brevard recorded two shutouts and has only allowed three goals, while averaging 2.5 goals per match on offense. 

In the two home wins this past weekend, Brevard averaged 16.5 shots on offense while limiting Ferrum and Averett to five and eight total shots respectively. Adam Spencer was the high-point man in the two victories with three total points (one goal, one assist).

Sophomore goalkeeper Patrick Hall also played a key role in the wins over the weekend, as he tallied five saves and allowed just one goal. Hall also ranks third in the USA South Conference with a .783 save percentage.

Pfieffer comes into the match 8-6-1 on the year, and riding a four match winning streak. The Falcons have stifled their opponents on defense, as they have let up only one goal in those four matches and have averaged five goals per match on offense.

Caleb Bratager and Chris Brown lead the charge on offense for the Falcons, as the two have recorded a total of 22 and 20 total points scored respectively in 2017.

This will be the first meeting between the two schools since October 28th, 2014, a 3-0 win for the Falcons.
