BREVARD, N.C.- The Brevard men's lacrosse team will face Mars Hill on the road in an exhibition on Saturday afternoon.

This will be the start of coach Eric McKinney's first full season at the helm of the Brevard men's lacrosse program, after he was the head coach for the team's final four games of the 2017 campaign. In those four games, the Tornados averaged just under 10 goals per game, while allowing 14 goals per contest.

One of the returning starters for Brevard for the season is junior Jackson McKaig, who led the team with goals (33), points (48), shots (87) and ranked third in assists (15).

On the Mars Hill sideline, the team is led by senior Dima Ferreira, last year's leader in goals (23), assists (18) and points (41) for the Lions.
