BREVARD, N.C. – Several student-athletes from the Brevard College Men's Basketball team have donated their time three times per week assisting with referee duties for the Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club spring youth basketball league located in Brevard, North Carolina.

The connection was put together by Brevard College Assistant Men's Basketball Coach Miles Leathers and Devon Holmes, the Health and Wellness Director at the Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club.  Holmes, the Positive Coaching Alliance 2020 National Coach of the Year, is a 2014 graduate of Brevard where he was a football student-athlete. Leathers is a 2016 graduate of Brecard where he set several school records on the basketball court.
