Brevard Closes Season at Berea with Weekend Doubleheader

BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College Tornados men's basketball team (0-5, 0-4 USAS) wraps up its 2020-21 campaign, making its first and final road trip of the season against Berea College (0-8, 0-8 USAS) in Berea, Kentucky on Saturday and Sunday, with tipoffs slated for 4 p.m. and 12 p.m.

In an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic, spectators will not be permitted to attend USA South Conference indoor sports.  The policy is in accordance with the USA South Conference's policy announced on January 7, 2021. 

The Tornados have been led by junior Ladji Samoura, who posted 11 points last time out against Covenant College on Tuesday. Samoura is also shooting 41.2 percent from the field this season for the Tornados. 

Berea comes into play this weekend with a 0-8 record on the season. The Mountaineers are led by Trey Minter, who is averaging 21.1 points-per-game.
