The Tornados come into Wednesday's contest as winners of two of their last four games. Brevard took tight victories on the road against Huntingdon College 83-81 and escaped with a 67-63 home win against Maryville College last Tuesday, January 28.

Piedmont has won its last three games, starting its three-game win streak with a dominant 97-73 victory over the Tornados back on January 21 at the Boshamer Gymnasium.

Senior guard Demari Hopper tallied a career-best 25 points on eight made field goals and a career-high six made 3-pointers in the defeat.

Hopper shot 8-of-15 from the field and knocked in 6-of-11 from beyond the arc to pass his previous career-high of five made 3-pointers set on December 30, 2019, at Oglethorpe University. The Gastonia, North Carolina native also knocked in 3-of-5 from the free-throw line.

Piedmont was paced by extremely hot shooting throughout the duration of the contest. The Lions as a team shot 65.6% from the field while knocking in 11-of-20 3-pointers.

Jordan Foote led Piedmont's efficient scoring night by dropping 28 points on 13-of-15 shooting from the field. Foote's double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds was accompanied by Will Richter (17 points) and Dalton Meeler (14 points), who also scored in double figures.

Coming down the stretch of their respective careers, seniors Levi Lamb and Demari Hopper are two of Brevard's three scorers who are averaging double figures. Levi Lamb's 15.8 points-per-game and Hopper's 12.7 mark are accompanied by Cannon Lamb, who has averaged 13.5 points-per-contest in 2019-20.

Levi Lamb's 15.8 ppg puts the Atlanta native 10th in the USA South Conference's leading scorers. That average would also put him in the top-10 for single-season scoring average in Brevard's NCAA-era.

Following BC's matchup against Piedmont, the Tornados will return home for back-to-back home contests at The Bosh. Brevard will gear up for "Team IMPACT Night" - where BC will honor Team IMPACT member Russell McKay - this Saturday, February 8 at 2 p.m. against LaGrange College.
