Men’s Basketball Opens Up Home Slate Against Bob Jones

BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College Tornados Men's Basketball team (1-3) return to the Boshamer Gymnasium on the campus of Brevard College for the first time in the 2018-19 season as the Tornados face Bob Jones University (0-4) on Tuesday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m.

The Tornados are fresh off of a trip to Sewanee, Tenn. as they took part in the Lon Varnell Classic hosted by Sewanee University.

Brevard faced Berry College on Friday, November 16 before host Sewanee on Saturday, November 17, dropping two tightly contested games.

Junior forward Levi Lamb enjoyed back to back solid performances for the Tornados in Sewanee.

Lamb racked up a 20-point performance against Berry, which was followed by a career-high 23-point night versus Sewanee.

Lamb shot a combined 18-of-26 on the weekend, which includes 6-of-10 from long range. Lamb currently averages a team-high 16.3 ppg.

After Tuesday's contest with Bob Jones, the Tornados will enjoy an eight-day break before a doubleheader with Toccoa Falls College on Wednesday, November 28.

The BC Women's team will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. while the Men's team follows shortly after at 7:30 p.m. at the Boshamer Gymnasium.
