Chandler Ryan has been named Head Coach for the Brevard College Cheerleading program, announced BC Director of Athletics Myranda Nash. Ryan will begin her duties at Brevard College on August 1, 2021.

A 2017 alumna of Brevard College, Ryan was a standout cheerleader for the Tornados from the 2013-14 through 2016-17 seasons.  Named Most Valuable Player in Cheerleading and Dance while at BC, she successfully performed at football and basketball games, along with a multitude of cheer competitions.  Most notably, she won first place at Fever Productions and Spirit Solutions competitions in North Carolina and South Carolina.

While at BC, Ryan was active in the community as a volunteer with the Shriners and the Hendersonville Rotary Club.  She also coached the TC Twisters Cheerleading Team in 2013-14, helping lead the squad to a first-place finish at the Jam Fest Nationals in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Following graduation from Brevard College, Ryan continued her coaching career as a coach for #CampReva in Hickory, North Carolina where she has coached and choreographed youth cheer and dance since 2017.

Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Organizational Leadership in 2017 from Brevard College.
