Anderson Earns Second Conference Accolade of Season Following Maryville Victory

BREVARD, N.C. - Freshman right-handed pitcher Trenten Anderson collected the second USA South Baseball Rookie Pitcher of the Week award of the season after his eight-inning performance in Brevard's 3-2 victory over Maryville that clinched its conference-opening series last Saturday. 

Anderson, a native of Orange City, Florida shut out the Scots for eight innings, surrendering just two runs in total with five strikeouts to earn his second win as a starter this season. 

The award marks BC baseball's third conference honor of the season, as Anderson's second selection joins teammate Zach Allison's Player of the Week award.

Anderson and the rest of the BC baseball team are in action on Tuesday taking on Bob Jones University at Fluor Field in Greenville, South Carolina at 6 p.m.
