2017 (FRESHMAN): Saw limited action over the course of the 2017 campaign … played one set at Salem (Sept. 13), recording one dig.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-sport athlete that competed in volleyball, swimming and softball over the course of her prep career at Belmont High School in Belmont, N.C. … a four-time letter winner in volleyball at the outside hitter position, Franks helped her team reach the first round of the state playoffs in her freshman and sophomore seasons under the direction of head coach Christina Dimmitt … enjoyed success on the softball diamond as a middle infielder, advancing to the first round of the state playoffs (2013), second round of state playoffs (2014) and on two occasions to the fourth round of the state playoffs (2015, 2016) … wrapped up the first year of a four-year prep swimming career by finishing 15th at the State Meet in 2013 … followed with an appearance at the Regional Meet in both 2014 and 2015 before capping off her senior campaign by placing 11th and 18th in the State Meet in 2016.

PERSONAL: Brittany Alicia Franks … daughter of Amy and Charles Franks … born March 13, 1999 … member of the National Honors Society and National Technical Honors Society … actively participated in Spanish Club, where she served as Vice President, Interact Club, Art Club, FCA and FCA Huddle Leader …  majoring in biology.
