Mann named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

GRAND LAKE, Colo. - Ashlea Mann was named to the Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association, becoming the only South Atlantic Conference student-athlete honored by the organization.

In order to be eligible for inclusion onto the honor roll, student-athletes must be at least a junior and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Mann graduated from Brevard's Business and Organizational Leadership program with a 3.78 GPA in April. She is currently working as a Care Team Administrator with Modern Impressions, a business technology solutions provider, and plans to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree at UNC Charlotte.

"I'm proud of Ashlea because she's such an example of a true student-athlete, always striving for success on the field and in the classroom," said head coach Kristin Rosato. "Ashlea is a huge part of the program's success and I look forward to seeing what she accomplishes in the future."

Mann spent two years on the women's lacrosse team, making her biggest impact during her senior season. She finished third on the team with 19 goals, including a career-high five at Montreat on April 12, and chipped in five assists. She placed over 80 percent of her 46 career shots on target and ranks in the top five in program history in eight statistical categories.
