Tornados Drop Match to Blue Devils at Hilton Head
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - The Brevard College men's tennis team (2-7) fell 9-0 to Lawrence Tech (8-10) on Saturday night at Chaplin Park in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

The Tornados fell behind 3-0 in doubles play, despite several spurts in all three matches. BC's number-one doubles team of Devin Horton and James Srisich were ultimately defeated 8-3, while Andrew Ingram and Ethan McGee fell 8-2 in no. 2 doubles.

Number-three doubles proved to be the tightest match of the evening as Brevard's Peter Bresco and JaMarcus Walker battled to win six games in an eventual 8-6 defeat.

The Blue Devils went on to dominate singles play to sweep the team competition 9-0.  McGee (no. 1), Horton (no. 2), Srisich (no. 3), Ingram (no. 4), Bresco (no. 5) and Brian Seon (no. 6) all competed in singles for the Tornados.

Brevard will play again Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort when the squad takes on Cairn University. The five-match spring break stretch for the Tornados continues through Tuesday on Hilton Head Island.
