BREVARD, N.C. – Rising sophomore student-athletes Troy Broska and Jackson Ray were honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), garnering selections as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The announcement comes following a successful freshman campaign for the pair of Tornados, who were the two two performers in singles victories on the 2019-20 team – with Broska carrying four wins and Ray earning three victories. 

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, one must meet the following requirements:

·         have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year

·         be listed on the institutional eligibility form
