Patrick Hall Tabbed USA South Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

BREVARD, N.C. - Brevard College men's soccer goalkeeper Patrick Hall was selected as the USA South Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending October 6.

Hall, a senior from Pikeville, N.C., earns the honor following an outstanding performance which helped lead his team to a 5-0 victory over defending USA South men's soccer champion Maryville College last Wednesday, October 2 at Ives-Lemel Family Field.

The Tornado captain stopped a total of eight shots on the evening as Brevard played the match a man down for the final 64 minutes of competition.

Hall currently ranks fourth in the USA South with a .766 save percentage and has the sixth-least goals allowed average (1.38).

Hall's honor makes him the seventh BC athlete to earn a conference weekly award thus far in the 2019-20 season.

The BC Tornados men's soccer team returns to action Tuesday at Ives-Lemel Family Field for a 6 p.m. conference match against Pfeiffer University.
