Brevard takes down LaGrange for fourth win of the season

LaGRANGE, Ga.- Brevard men's soccer shuts out LaGrange on the road 3-0 to earn their fourth win of the season.

The Brevard defense limited LaGrange to just six shots in the match, with goalkeeper Patrick Hall recording three saves while not allowing a goal. Offensively, three different Tornados scored a goal to have a balanced attack in the victory.

Brevard opened the scoring early, as Austin Wolfe scored his second goal of the season in the fifth minute of the game. The rest of the half Brevard was unable to score, but the defense held the Panthers to just two shots in the first 45 minutes.

In the 53rd minute, Anton Borjesson scored his first goal of the season off an assist from Wolfe to make the score 2-0.

The next goal came in the 73rd minute, as Adam Spencer found the back of the net for the first time this season to add another goal to the Tornado lead.

With the win, Brevard now has a multi-game winning streak for the first time in 2017.

Brevard will go on the road again Saturday afternoon where they will take on Covenant.
