BREVARD, N.C. - Fifth-year senior placekicker Stamati Damalos concluded his collegiate career in style, garnering the final USA South Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honor of the 2022 season. 

The senior placekicker from Tarpon Springs, Florida made all seven of his kicks in a 41-27 victory over Southern Virginia last week. Damalos was 2-for-2 on field goals, with a long of 35 yards, and 5-for-5 on extra point attempts. 

Damalos concludes his collegiate career far and away the most accomplished placekicker in Brevard College history, holding career records for field goals made (34), extra points made (88), extra point percentage (91%), total points (190), and has made the longest field goal in BC history (48-yarder Sept. 3 vs. Shorter). 

The Tornados garnered their fifth conference victory last Saturday as BC finishes 2022 with a winning record in conference action for the fourth-consecutive season. In the last four years, BC has a 23-12 overall record and an 18-7 mark in USA South play. 

Damalos' award gives Brevard College a grand total of 20 weekly athlete of the week awards from the USA South.
