*Defending Champion

Beginning in the 2022-23 season of competition, USA South opponents Belhaven, Huntingdon, LaGrange, and Maryville will be affiliate members of the USA South Conference in the sports of football, men's and women's lacrosse, with the formation of the brand new Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS. Brevard, Greensboro, Methodist, NC Wesleyan, and Southern Virginia remain full-time members of the USA South.

Brevard will look to continue the program's unprecedented run of recent success, as the Tornados – led by sixth-year Head Coach Bill Khayat – have had three-consecutive winning seasons for the first time in program history. Brevard's six conference wins a season ago set a new program record for single-season conference victories. The Tornados earned numerous accolades during the Fall 2021 season, including eight All-Conference selections, three All-Region honorees, two Cliff Harris Award nominees, and a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection.

BC returns a large portion of its 2021 roster that propelled the Tornados to a third-place finish in the USA South, while also welcoming over 70 newcomers to the program. For the first time in program history, Brevard will also feature a JV program that will compete in three contests – with two being at Ives-Lemel Family Field.

The Tornados open the 2022 campaign on Saturday, September 3 at 1 p.m. vs. NCAA DII Shorter University at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
