Brevard College placed a school-record 167 student-athletes on the USA South Academic All-Conference Team for the 2021-22 academic year.
BC’s 167 academic all-conference selections shatters the previous record of 129 set in 2020-21. Brevard is among the top-five schools in the USA South in total number of honorees, joining Piedmont University (215 honorees), Huntingdon College (199 honorees), Southern Virginia University (197 honorees), and Methodist University (158 honorees) in the top-five of USA South Conference institutions.

Sophomore Devonte Murray rushed for 69 yards while sophomore Deshonte Kirkland added 65 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Freddie Aiken II pushed ahead for 61 yards on seven carries, featuring a game-long 40-yard scamper. Aiken, Kirkland, and Murray all logged career-highs in the contest on the ground.
On the defensive end, Dante Anderson, Tyler Harrison, and Joc Pledger all logged interceptions. Harrison returned a 75-yard pick-six to the house to help the Tornados to the victory.
