BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College Department of Athletics has announced that the 12th Annual BC Tornados Open will be held on Wednesday, August 19 at Lake Toxaway Country Club in Toxaway, North Carolina.
The action-packed day of golf will commence at 7:30 a.m. with registration and full breakfast that will last until 8:30 a.m. The Kickoff Ceremony is slated for 8:45 a.m., with a shotgun start taking place at 9 a.m. in a "Captain's Choice" scramble format. Immediately following the tournament, the awards luncheon will be held.
Four levels of tournament sponsorship opportunities are available at the 12th edition of the annual tournament. Team Captain level – the highest level of sponsorship ($1,500) – includes four golf participants, a Varsity Level Tornado Club membership, a recognition sign on a hole of the course, and a half-page ad in the Brevard College Football and Basketball programs. All-Star level ($1,000) includes four participants, a Coach's Level Tornado Club membership, and a recognition sign on a hole. Player level ($250) includes one entry into the tournament, with green and cart fees included, and access to beverages, breakfast, the awards luncheon, and the chance to win the tournament.
Sponsors interested can become a hole sponsor for $200, which grants acknowledgment with a recognition sign on one of the 18 holes.
Several tournament enhancement options are also once again available for purchase. To enhance the playing experience at Lake Toxaway Country Club and improve the player's score, mulligans are available for a $10 purchase. The mulligans can be bought on the day of the event, and there is a two-mulligan maximum per-player.
