Alongside Huntingdon, Brevard also hosted Bob Jones University – who it will face tomorrow at noon – and Salem College, with Methodist University joining the group in the morning. The tournament opened with Bob Jones defeating Salem 3-1, while Huntingdon dropped the Bruins by a final of 3-1.

In the day's final game, Huntingdon jumped out with early momentum and carried it through the match en route to the straight-set victory.

In the first set, the Hawks were able to use a late scoring run-scoring seven-consecutive points to take a commanding 23-13 lead as Huntingdon took the 25-14 set win. The Hawks started the second set on a 7-0 run before cruising through with a 25-12 victory. The third set proved to be the most tightly contested of the match but the Hawks were able to prevail 25-17 to wrap up the three-set win.

Brevard wraps up the Tornado Classic on Saturday at 12 p.m. vs. Bob Jones at the Boshamer Gymnasium as part of a four-match slate for the Tornados.
