Hoxit added one service ace.

Brevard won a tight first set, 26-24 to take a 1-0 lead.  LaGrange fought back to tie the match up 1-1 with a 25-23 win in the second set.  BC then took control with a 25-21 third-set win to Inch closer to the match win.

The Tornados led set four 22-19, then rattled off three straight points to take the fourth set and therefore the match.  Pressley set up Hoxit for a kill to move within two points of victory, followed by a kill by freshman Kendall Rockstad assisted by senior Morgan Graham.  With Pukas serving, Priddy then provided an assist to Hoxit who finished the match with a game-winning kill en route to the four-set victory.

In the earlier match, Maryville won in straight sets. The Tornados were led by Hoxit with six kills and Pukas with four assists.

Next up for Brevard is a non-conference match at Bob Jones University on Tuesday in Greenville, South Carolina.  USA South Conference play for the Tornados resumes on Wednesday at 7 p.m. vs. Agnes Scott at the Boshamer Gymnasium.
