TOCCOA, Ga. - The Brevard College women's soccer team (5-2) got back in the win column with a dominant 7-0 shutout victory over the Toccoa Falls Screaming Eagles on Wednesday evening in Toccoa, Georgia. 

The victory marked the 50th for Head Coach Juan Mascaro Sr. at the helm of the BC women's soccer program. The seventh-year head coach is the winningest in BC women's soccer's NCAA-era history. 

Kiara Porcelli totaled a brace with a career-high two goals, while six different Tornados in total got on the score sheet. Joining Porcelli were Emma Barnes, Grace Black, Maddy Edwards, Olivia Guillermo, and Emma White who all logged scores for Brevard. 

Mackenzie Lozano (3-1) earned the shutout victory for Brevard, making a pair of saves en route to the clean sheet. 

Porcelli scored her first goal in the 11th minute off a corner kick to give the Tornados the early lead. Black then found the back of the net in the 15th minute as Brevard enjoyed a quick 2-0 advantage. 

Edwards was able to score in the 24th minute before Porcelli completed the brace in the 29th minute, giving Brevard a dominant 4-0 lead that it would take into the intermission. 

After 18 minutes of scoreless action, White took a penalty kick and put it in the back of the net, extending Brevard's lead to a 5-0 margin in the 63rd minute of action. 

Barnes scored her first goal of the season in the 79th minute, followed by Guillermo's goal in the 80th minute that sealed the contest in favor of the Tornados, 7-0. 

BC continues a season-long five-match road trip with its USA South Conference opener on Saturday in Rocky Mount, North Carolina against NC Wesleyan University at 4 p.m.
