2022 WOMEN'S SOCCER SCHEDULE LINK

BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College women's soccer team, under the direction of Head Coach Juan Mascaro Sr., Associate Head Coach Juan Mascaro Jr., and Volunteer Assistant Coach Rebeccah Rojas, has set its schedule for the upcoming 2022 season of competition.

"The 2022 season brings new and exciting opportunities for us," said Coach Mascaro. "Our non-conference schedule will prepare us for a competitive USA South. The realignment in the conference gives our team the chance to compete against new opponents and travel to new places, while giving us an opportunity to continue our program's recent success. We look forward to competing for a postseason berth and ultimately an opportunity for an NCAA bid."

The Tornados open up the Fall with a scrimmage in Central, South Carolina against Southern Wesleyan University on August 27 at 5 p.m. in a final tune-up ahead of the regular season.

Brevard opens its regular season on September 1, facing Guilford in a Thursday evening showdown at Ives-Lemel Family Field at 6 p.m. for BC's regular season and home-opener. Brevard will then head to Bluefield, West Virginia to take on Bluefield College on Saturday, September 3 at 4 p.m.

The Tornados return home for midweek matches against Warren Wilson College (Sept. 6, 7 p.m.) and Carlow University (Sept. 15, 7 p.m.) before embarking on a five-match road swing. BC will first head to Winston-Salem, North Carolina to face Carolina University on Sunday, September 18 at 4 p.m. before making a short trip to Swannanoa, North Carolina for a rematch against Warren Wilson College on Wednesday, September 21 at 5 p.m.

BC will begin USA South Conference play with a trip to Rocky Mount, North Carolina on Saturday, September 24 to face NC Wesleyan College at 2 p.m. The Tornados then step out of Conference play briefly to face former USA South foe Berea College in Berea, Kentucky on Tuesday, September 27 at 4 p.m. The road stretch concludes on Saturday, October 1 with a conference trip to Raleigh, North Carolina to face Meredith College, as kickoff time is still TBD.

Brevard returns to the friendly confines of its home turf on Wednesday, October 5 to play Greensboro College at 5 p.m. before hosting Southern Virginia University on Saturday, October 8 at 2 p.m.

The Tornados will take a break from conference action with consecutive non-conference battles, first in Charlotte, North Carolina on Tuesday, October 11 vs. Johnson & Wales NC at 7 p.m. and then at home vs. Mississippi University for Women on Thursday, October 13 at 7 p.m.

Brevard then gears up for the stretch run in the USA South Conference, as the Tornados play five-straight conference matches. BC will host Methodist University on Saturday, October 15 at 1 p.m. before taking on Salem College on Wednesday, October 19 at 6 p.m.

BC heads to Staunton, Virginia to play Mary Baldwin University on Saturday, October 22 at 1 p.m. ahead of a midweek conference tilt vs. Pfeiffer on Tuesday, October 25, with game time TBD. Brevard's regular-season finale comes at home on Saturday, October 29 against William Peace University at 2 p.m.

The 2022 USA South Conference Women's Soccer Tournament is scheduled to take place between Tuesday, November 1 - Saturday, November 5, with details still TBD with Conference realignment now official. The conference will now consist of 10 member institutions that field women's teams.

Brevard women's soccer, under the tutelage of Coach Mascaro, will be looking to qualify for its fourth postseason in five seasons, as BC was selected to the 2018 ECAC Tournament, the Spring 2021 USA South West Division Tournament, and the Fall 2021 USA South Conference Tournament.
