BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College women's soccer team (9-6-3, 5-2-1 USAS) hosts the first round of the USA South Conference Women's Soccer Tournament on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Ives-Lemel Family Field as five-seed Huntingdon College (8-8-1, 4-3-1 USAS) makes the trip up to Brevard for postseason action.

Admission of $6 will be charged for adults and $3 will be asked for BC students, faculty, and staff (cash only). Courtesy of BC campus life, the first 100 Brevard students, faculty, or staff will receive free admission into the game.

The Tornados, who finished the regular season as the four-seed in the West Division with a 5-2-1 conference record, are making their second-consecutive postseason appearance and third playoff trip in the last four seasons, as Brevard qualified for the 2018 ECAC Women's Soccer Championships before earning the two-seed in the Spring 2021 USA South West Division Tournament.

Tuesday's matchup serves as a rematch of an earlier contest in the Fall campaign played on September 25 in Montgomery, Alabama, with the Hawks taking a 1-0 decision in the early-season matchup. Huntingdon's Erin Cembrale scored in the 59th minute en route to the victory.

The Tornados come into Tuesday's match on a recent hot streak. BC is unbeaten in nine of its last 10 matches since its first matchup with Huntingdon, outscoring opponents 25-5 over that stretch.

Brevard's attack has been led by senior forward Ashley Royster and sophomore forward Taylor Richardson, who have accounted for six goals apiece this season. Sophomore forward Tae Brown has added four goals and five assists, while senior midfielder Sallie Riggan has registered a team-best six assists to help facilitate the offense. Graduate goalkeeper Rebeccah Rojas (8-5-3) has totaled nine shutouts (six solo, three combined) alongside BC's stout defensive backline.

Number-one seed Methodist University awaits the winner of Brevard and Huntingdon's Tuesday afternoon clash in the quarterfinals of the 2021 USA South Women's Soccer Tournament.
