SWANNANOA, N.C. - The Brevard College women's soccer team (7-6-3) completed a season sweep over Warren Wilson College (0-9-0), using three goals in the first half to propel itself to a 3-0 triumph on Monday afternoon.

Ashley Royster tallied a goal and assist to help lead the Tornado offense, while Taylor Richardson and Aliyah Vaughan each found the score sheet as well. The goal marked the first of Vaughan's collegiate career. In addition to Royster, Sallie Riggan and Abbie Worsencroft also logged assists in the contest.

Graduate goalkeeper Rebeccah Rojas tallied the eighth overall shutout of the season and the 28th shutout of her Tornado career, making three saves in the match.

Brevard was able to dominate possession en route to its second win over the Owls this season, outshooting WWC 20-6 while winning four corner kicks to Warren Wilson's three.

Royster scored on a Riggan through ball in the 15th minute before a pass over the top of the Owl defense by Worsencroft found Richardson, who scored in the 25th minute to double Brevard's lead. Royster's shot right before halftime was saved by Warren Wilson's Carrigan Causby, but Vaughan was on the spot to collect the loose ball and fire it into the back of the net, giving BC a 3-0 lead at the intermission.

All three of Rojas' saves came in the second stanza as the Tornados wrapped up the road non-conference victory, 3-0.

BC will play its final regular-season home contest of the season on Wednesday at 7 p.m. vs. Johnson & Wales - Charlotte before closing out conference play on the road Saturday against Berea at 3 p.m.
