BREVARD, N.C. – Freshman attacker/midfielder Paige Kneubuhler was honored by the USA South Conference for the second-consecutive week, earning USA South Rookie of the Week honors.
Kneubuhler, a first-year Tornado from Evansville, Indiana, totaled seven points on six goals and one assist to go along with six ground balls, three draw controls, and two caused turnovers in a 1-1 week for the Tornados. In a 20-4 loss to Meredith, Kneubuhler scored three times with two ground balls and two draw controls. In a 16-6 victory over Huntingdon, Kneubuhler totaled scored three goals with one assist, four ground balls, two caused turnovers, and one draw control.
Kneubuhler has been a big part of BC's early success in the 2023 season, racking up 21 goals and 10 assists for 31 points with 21 ground balls, 25 draw controls, and 11 caused turnovers.
Kneubuhler's honor gives BC a grand total of 44 weekly awards from the USA South so far in 2022-23.
