BREVARD, N.C. – Senior attacker Autumn Kraemer was selected as the USA South Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, while freshman attacker/midfielder Paige Kneubuhler earned Rookie of the Week honors after big performances in BC's two Spring Break victories last week.
Kraemer, a senior from Stewartstown, Pennsylvania, scored 11 goals and added five assists in a 2-0 week for the Tornados. The fourth-year Tornado broke the single-game program record for points with 12 and matched her own single-game goal record on nine goals with three assists in BC's convincing 18-5 victory over Sweet Briar College. Kraemer added two goals and two assists in a 16-11 triumph at Guilford College.
Kneubuhler, a freshman hailing from Evanston, Indiana, broke out last week with 11 points on seven goals and four assists with five ground balls, eight draw controls, and three caused turnovers. The first-year Tornado surged for seven points on five goals and two assists, proving to be the difference in BC's 16-11 win at Guilford.
Kraemer's and Kneubuhler's honors give BC a grand total of 42 weekly awards from the USA South so far in 2022-23.
