BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College women's basketball team has announced adjustments to its schedule following a vote by the USA South Conference President's Council to adjust this year's women's basketball tournament in an effort to give teams more dates to reschedule postponed contests.
Brevard has announced that its home contest vs. Maryville, which was originally scheduled to take place on January 12, has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 13 at 3 p.m. Additionally, BC's road contest vs. Huntingdon College, which was supposed to take place on January 8 in Montgomery, Alabama, has been moved to Tuesday, February 15 at 5:30 p.m. ET/ 4:30 p.m. CT.
The 2022 USA South Conference Women's Basketball Tournament dates have been adjusted as follows:
- First Round: Saturday, February 19, 2022 (higher-seeds host) - in-division
- Quarterfinals: Tuesday, February 22, 2022 (higher-seeds host) - in-division
- Semifinal/Championship: Friday/Saturday, February 25/26, 2022 (highest-remaining divisional seed hosts)
The Tornados are scheduled to return to action on Saturday as Brevard will travel to Berea, Kentucky to face Berea College at 2 p.m.
