MACON, Ga. - The Brevard College women's basketball team (4-1, 2-0 USAS) defeated Wesleyan College (0-5, 0-2 USAS), 68-36, en route to BC's fourth consecutive victory.

Avery Lockwood totaled 16 points and nine boards to lead all Tornados. Melvia Seymore added 11 points, three steals, and three assists off the bench. 

Brevard shot 40.9% from the field as a team, while causing 30 turnovers and scoring 26 points off turnovers. BC dominated the interior with 42 points in the paint. 

BC outscored Wesleyan 16-6 in the first period before outpacing the Wolves with a 19-12 margin in the second half for the 35-18 halftime advantage. BC sealed its victory with a 17-7 third quarter to help the Tornados to the 68-36 triumph. 

BC takes Thanksgiving week off of in-game action before hosting a trio of games at the Boshamer Gymnasium.
