DEMOREST, Ga. - The Brevard College men's tennis team (4-13, 1-3 USA South) dropped a USA South Conference dual match to Piedmont University (15-4, 4-0 USAS) on Thursday afternoon in Demorest, Georgia.
The Lions were able to take three doubles matches before sweeping singles action for the 9-0 team victory.
The closest doubles match of the afternoon proved to be in the number-one spot, as Ethan McGee and Noah Lewis narrowly fell 8-5 before the Lions controlled the following two doubles matches for the 3-0 lead.
The Lions went on to control all six singles matches en route to the conference sweep.
The Tornados return to action on Friday, April 15, playing host to Huntingdon College at the McCoy Tennis Complex at 1 p.m.
