BREVARD, N.C. – Junior forward Ryan Lynch was selected as USA South Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week after a strong performance in Brevard College's 3-2 victory over Warren Wilson College.

The award marks Lynch's second player of the week accolade of his career after earning the honor last season.

Lynch, a junior from Charlotte, North Carolina, scored two goals and added an assist for five points in BC's 3-2 win at Warren Wilson last Wednesday. The effort helped propel the Tornados to their second win in a row, as Brevard followed the performance up with a 1-0 victory at Centre College to win its third match in a row.

Lynch has totaled 10 goals and three assists for 23 career points in 28 games played (all started) for the Tornados.

The Tornados play their home-opener this Wednesday against former USA South foe Berea College at 5 p.m. at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
