Tornados Take Exciting 3-2 Win at Warren Wilson

SWANNANOA, N.C. – The Brevard College men's soccer team (2-3) defeated regional foe Warren Wilson College (1-3-1) by a final of 3-2 on Wednesday evening in Swannanoa, North Carolina.

The win marks the second consecutive victory for the Tornados after claiming its first win of the season, 2-0, last Saturday evening at Bob Jones University.

Ryan Lynch scored twice while adding an assist to lead the way for the Tornado attack. The junior forward from Charlotte, North Carolina has now accumulated three goals in four games played this season. Sam O'Callaghan logged a pair of assists, while Luis dos Santos scored BC's second goal of the contest. Junior defender Igor da Silva logged his second assist of the season.

The Tornados will compete in one more road contest to conclude its season-opening six-game road swing on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Danville, Kentucky against Centre College. BC plays its first home match of the season on Wednesday, September 21 vs. Berea College at 5 p.m.
