    Brevard College placed 154 student-athletes on the USA South Academic All-Conference Team for the 2022-23 academic year.

  • Tornados Keep Battle of Blue Ridge Trophy after 19-5 Victory at Warren Wilson

    The Brevard College men's lacrosse team (3-13) dominated Warren Wilson College 19-5 to close out the 2023 season with a victory on Saturday afternoon in Swannanoa, North Carolina in the "Battle of Blue Ridge" rivalry contest for the second consecutive season. 
  • MLAX Honors Seniors in Home Finale

    Brevard College men’s lacrosse seniors Daelan Grady and Trystan Wallace were both honored in a special pre-game ceremony, as the Tornados (2-13, 0-8 USA South) hosted Southern Virginia University (7-7, 6-1 USAS) on Saturday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Family Field. 
  • Monarchs Run Past Tornados in Fayetteville

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (2-12, 0-7 USA South) fell 26-3 to Methodist University (5-8, 3-3 USAS) on Saturday afternoon in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  Atticus Cooper scored two goals to lead all Tornado goal scorers, while Gage Khayat also found the back of the net. Will Scoggins dished out an assist while Jack Hicks logged his second-straight game with 20-plus saves, stopping 20 shots and grabbing seven ground balls. Nick Charania added five ground balls defensively. 
  • Tornados Fall in Midweek Conference Tilt

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (2-10, 0-5 USA South) fell 24-6 to Piedmont University (7-4, 3-0 USAS) on Wednesday evening in Demorest, Georgia. Atticus Cooper notched a season-high two goals and two assists for four points scored, while also grabbing a team-high four ground balls. Parker Corbett scored a pair of goals on Cooper’s assists, while Andrew McDonald and Brice Peterson each tallied a goal and an assist with Drew Pond also recording an assist. BC deployed a duo of goalkeepers in the matchup as Jack Hicks and Scott Bundy each played a half for BC, logging seven saves apiece.  
  • MLAX Bested by Pacers on the Road, 17-5

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (2-9, 0-4 USA South) fell 17-5 on Saturday afternoon to William Peace University (4-5, 1-3 USAS) in a USA South Conference matchup in Cary, North Carolina. BC’s Parker Corbett and Andrew McDonald each scored two goals and dished out an assist, while Drew Pond scored once and added three assists for four total points to lead all Tornados. Starting goalkeeper Scott Bundy (0-3) made 12 saves and grabbed a team-high eight ground balls, while Jacob Gravely added three caused turnovers. Will Scoggins won nine faceoffs and Ben Wilhelm added three faceoff wins.
  • BC Drops Conference Matchup to Panthers

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (2-8, 0-3 USAS) fell 23-2 to LaGrange College (5-5, 1-1 USAS) in a USA South Conference matchup on a windy Saturday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Family Field.  Sophomore Finnegan McCormack and freshman Gage Khayat scored goals for the Tornados with sophomore Drew Pond recording an assist.  It marked the 12th goal of the season for McCormack, matching his total from last season.  Pond now has a team-best nine assists on the season.

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (2-7, 0-2 USA South) fell 26-4 to Pfeiffer University (8-0, 1-0 USAS) on Tuesday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Family Field in the first home USA South Conference contest for the Tornados.
  • Hawks Over Tornados in USA South Opener

    The Brevard College Men’s Lacrosse team (2-6, 0-1 USAS) fell 21-5 to host Huntingdon College (4-4, 1-0 USAS) in the USA South Conference opener for both teams on Saturday in Montgomery, Alabama. Sophomore attacker Frankie Howard led Brevard offensively with two goals in the contest.  Junior Andrew McDonald recorded one goal and one assist, firing off a team-high four shots.  Sophomore midfielder Finnegan McCormack and graduate attacker Parker Corbett each scored goals as well with Henry Konsker and Drew Pond each registering assists.
  • Skyhawks Score Three Late to Take One-Goal Win over Tornados, 11-10

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (2-5) fell at home to Point University (1-8), 11-10, on Monday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Family Field.  The Skyhawks scored three goals in the fourth quarter and denied BC a chance at an equalizer late as Point earned its first win of the season at the hands of the Tornados, who fell to 2-5 on the season. 
  • Eagles Edge Tornados in Heartbreaker, 13-12, to Close Spring Break

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (2-4) fell in a down-to-the-wire contest, 13-12, to visiting Husson University (3-2) on Friday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Family Field, closing out BC’s Spring Break stretch of matchups. Sophomore midfielder Finnegan McCormack led all BC offensive players with two goals and three assists for a five-point performance. Andrew McDonald (three goals, one assist) and Parker Corbett (two goals, two assists) each turned in four-point performances to pace BC attackmen, while freshman midfielder Gage Khayat enjoyed a season-best three-point performance (two goals, one assist) for the Mesa, Arizona native. Fellow freshman attacker Henry Konsker added two goals while Frankie Howard scored BC’s second goal of the contest.
  • Guilford Defeats Brevard to Begin Spring Break Homestand

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (2-3) fell by a final of 22-3 to Guilford College (3-1) to begin a three-game Spring Break homestand for the Tornados on Tuesday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
  • Second Half Rally Falls Short for Tornados in Atlanta

    The Brevard College men's lacrosse team (2-2) outscored Oglethorpe University (4-4), 5-3 in the second half, but the Stormy Petrels used a big first half to propel themselves to a 10-7 victory over the Tornados on a rainy Thursday evening in Atlanta, Georgia.

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (2-1) used a dominant all-around performance to stifle Spalding University (0-2) 22-8 on a wet Friday evening under the lights at Ives Lemel Family Field. 
  • BC Drops Finale of Season-Opening Road Trip

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (1-1) fell 9-4 to host Ferrum College (1-1) on Sunday in Ferrum, Virginia.  The defeat gave the Tornados a split in their season-opening road trip after defeating Randolph College 7-3 on Friday. Four different Tornados scored in the contest with goals coming from Parker Corbett, Finnegan McCormick, Andrew McDonald, and Drew Pond.  McDonald also registered two assists. Scott Bundy started and played the entire game in goal for Brevard, recording 13 saves.
  • Tornados Pull Away for 7-3 Win in Season Opener

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse team (1-0) opened the 2023 season with a 7-3 victory over Randolph College (1-1) on Friday night at WildCat Stadium in Lynchburg, Virginia. The win marks the program’s first season-opening victory since the 2019 campaign when BC defeated Montreat College 17-10 on the road on February 6, 2019.
  • Men’s Lacrosse Preseason Poll Released by USA South

    The USA South Conference men’s lacrosse coaches recently released their annual preseason poll ahead of the 2023 men’s lacrosse season. Brevard College was selected to finish ninth in the conference. Pfeiffer University was placed atop the rankings thanks to receiving 59 total points and five of the possible nine first-place votes. The Falcons finished last season with a 7-2 regular season Conference record and reached the finals of the USA South tournament as the third-seeded team. Southern Virginia University, last year's regular season and tournament champions are second in the poll, grabbing 58 total points and three first-place votes, while Piedmont University rounded out the top three with 53 points and the final first-place vote.
  • Men’s Lacrosse Sets 2023 Schedule

    The Brevard College men’s lacrosse program has announced its schedule for the upcoming Spring 2023 season of competition. The schedule features an equal distribution of eight road and home matches (16 total), with eight contests coming inside USA South Conference play.
  • Brenner Woodcock Named Brevard College Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach

    Brenner Woodcock has been named Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Brevard College, announced Head Coach JD LeMay.  Woodcock arrives to Brevard from Averett University where he competed as a men’s lacrosse student-athlete in the USA South Conference. "I am extremely excited for Brenner to join the BC Lacrosse staff,” said Coach LeMay, “Brenner’s lacrosse IQ and dedication will help develop our student-athletes. Having Brenner will allow our practices and game days to run smoother. I am excited to have him and I can't wait to get started."
