In the early goings of the first half, Horton drilled a 3-pointer to tie the game at 5-5.  N.C. Wesleyan responded with a 15-0 scoring run that gave the home team a sizable cushion that it rode into halftime up 42-21.

The Battling Bishops maintained their lead in the second half by outscoring BC 38-31 in the final stanza.

Brevard will be back in action Sunday after a quick turnaround with another road conference game at Methodist University. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
