MARYVILLE, Tenn. – The Brevard College volleyball team (1-20, 1-8 USAS) dropped two matches at a USA South Conference quad-match Saturday afternoon in Maryville, Tennessee. Brevard fell in three sets to Berea (10-11, 5-3 USAS) in a neutral-site contest to start the day followed by a straight-set defeat to host Maryville (18-6, 9-0 USAS) in the nightcap.

Berea topped Brevard 25-14 in the first set of the day for the Tornados, then followed with identical 25-22 scores in sets two and three.

Brevard hung with the first-place Scots in the opening set, coming up just short 25-20. The second and third sets, however, were all Maryville as the Scots put away the match with 25-10 and 25-12 victories.
